The Workbench

What is the Workbench?

I call myself a Game Designer so it stands to reason that coming up with new game concepts is part of what I enjoy doing. When you add in that I’m taking classes to earn a degree doing the same thing you can imagine that I’ve got a fair number of games on my workbench at any given time. The workbench is a repository for the games I’m working on no matter how far along they may be.

What this page and its contents ARE

This section contains information on personal, school, or other Game Designs that I’m working on. This is my workbench – a somewhat messy place where the projects I’m tinkering on can be found. Some ideas will be nothing more than a scanned piece of notebook paper that never goes further while others could be all-but-published in quality.

I’m primarily providing this section as a way to archive my work for friends and family who are interested in what I do and for my own sense of posterity. The only semi-professional use of these pages is to show how my personal design and thought process works – and that’s just as scary as it is useful.

What this page and its contents ARE NOT

This is not a Portfolio, Resume, or otherwise professional collection of my work. While this does showcase, to some degree, the projects I’m undertaking they are often incomplete in many ways and would not make for a “professional” showing.
