Overview
Flashlight Marauders is an All-Age First-Person Action Game that seeks to open the First Person Shooter Genre to the “E for Everyone” crowd. Using the popular kid’s game of Flashlight Tag as a foundation for gameplay the previously violent, blood and gore filled FPS game market becomes accessible to anyone.
The game is designed with both a Story Mode (Single and Cooperative Play) as well as a Multiplayer Mode. In the Story Mode the player assumes the role of Kyle Barrett, neighborhood Flashlight Tag Champion. When a simple game of Flashlight Tag turns into a rescue operation to save Kyle’s younger brother the player will be forced to faces off against numerous neighborhood kids and mischievous monsters in an adventure through multiple neighborhoods late at night as well as the monster-filled Shadow-hood. When playing through in Cooperative Mode the First Player assumes the role of Kyle while the Second Player is free to choose from one of several other characters.
Flashlight Tag is more fun when you play with a lot of friends and Flashlight Marauders is no different. While Co-Op mode allows for two players to progress through the Story Mode together, the real multiplayer comes in the form of Vs Mode. The Vs Mode Multiplayer options pit players against one another in several different styles of matches customizable for their enjoyment.
